Applying is easy.


 

You do not have to be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) to become a member. All you have to do is complete a membership application and pay the annual dues. Application for membership can be made either online or via mail.

To join PMI, click on the below link and follow the links for the appropriate type of membership (Individual, Student or Retiree). Once you have added the Membership to your cart, if you wish to join this local PMI Chapter, select the Rio Grande Chapter by browsing the communities through the link in that cart item. PMI has 274 chartered and potential chapters that are the “face” of PMI in over 75 countries. These chapters are led by approximately 3,450 dedicated volunteers holding board positions and other levels of support. At the same time you join PMI, you can join one or more local PMI Chapters to get involved where you live.

The Local PMI Chapter in Albquerque, New Mexico is the Rio Grande Chapter (PMIRGC). By becoming a member of PMIRGC, you will build relationships, improve your skills, gain access to the most up-to-date knowledge and learn from some of the best in the field in your local area.

On January 21, Rio Grande Chapter of Project Management Institute celebrated a major milestone when it welcomed its 500th member, Roke Muna, during the monthly PMIRGC dinner meeting at Sandia Resort and Casino. Since its founding in 1985, PMIRGC has steadily grown as project managers have recognized the value of its programs and networking. This growth has accelerated in the last few years as the chapter added new events and programs focused on fulfilling local project managers’ needs for education, employment, networking, and support.

There are many benefits of PMI membership including the option to join our chapter or one of the many other chapters around the world.

As a PMI member, you receive many valuable benefits that help to promote your professional career development. To qualify you must be a paying member for a minimum of 3 years.
