PMI has 274 chartered and potential chapters that are the “face” of PMI in over 75 countries. These chapters are led by approximately 3,450 dedicated volunteers holding board positions and other levels of support. At the same time you join PMI, you can join one or more local PMI Chapters to get involved where you live.

On January 21, Rio Grande Chapter of Project Management Institute celebrated a major milestone when it welcomed its 500th member, Roke Muna, during the monthly PMIRGC dinner meeting at Sandia Resort and Casino. Since its founding in 1985, PMIRGC has steadily grown as project managers have recognized the value of its programs and networking. This growth has accelerated in the last few years as the chapter added new events and programs focused on fulfilling local project managers’ needs for education, employment, networking, and support.
