Annie has held the Director of Professional Development in PMIRGC for the past 1 and a half years with Tim Jerome, former President of the chapter. She has participated and provided rich content at our monthly breakfast meetings for the past two years. This time she is stepping upwards and onwards to become our VP of Volunteers.
She has been an active member of the chapter since she moved to NM in 2014 from Chicagoland area sight unseen. You’ll have to ask her to share this story of her journey to NM.
She brings to NM and our chapter 15+ years of globally diverse experiences with energy and enthusiasm including global and virtual management of resources that would help our chapter in managing the ebb and flow of our volunteer roster.
She is PMP certified with wide and deep experiences in just about every industry in technical, business and leadership areas of project management including Agile/Scrum software development and Six Sigma. She has been a consultant for over 10 years with private and public sectors. She has worked on just about all kinds and types of projects and organizations that are too long to list. Some might say, what hasn’t she done. She has tackled global projects ranging from Portfolio of projects restructuring, bankruptcies, mergers and acquisition, Governance and compliance, complex integration and resource management, derailed and troubled projects, projects with impossible, tight or constantly changing business requirements. All the things are so familiar to all of us in this profession.
She is currently working in the Biomedical technology imaging field as a Quality Project Manager.
She has a degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and is looking to add certification credentials in Agile and Scrum, and Green LEED Sustainability.
She is a consummate learner and leader in her profession and yes even in ballroom dancing. She has performed dances in Tango, Bolero, Waltz, latin dances, and often seen in social dancing circles in the community and nearby states. She also competes on various levels and genre of dancing with frugal creativity in her dance costumes. Her talent and capabilities are diverse indeed.
