Presidents Corner
Greetings!
My apologies to any members who attempted to register during the holiday period. We were transitioning to the new website and had an issue where the old website did not receive registrations as planned.
With that said, our new website is LIVE! Please take some time to tour the new site. It's brand new so there is still lots of functionality and content we will be adding over the coming months so stay tuned. We are confident you will find the new site extremely useful as members!
IF you have not registered for the January chapter meeting and training, I hope you do so soon! Be the first to enjoy our new location – Sandia Resort and Casino, enjoy the new food, enjoy the new opportunities for networking, and most of all, enjoy our special guest speaker on Quality Improvement in Agile.
Our speaker, Mark Layton will be leading a scrum master certification class in February for our chapter with member discounts. Recruiting Event
The Sandia National Labs Business Staffing team (BST) will attend the January 2012 PMIRGC meeting for an on-site recruiting event. Recruiting managers will be present to discuss Sandia's business recruiting process and potential positions in project controls, program/project administration, accounting, and audit. Please bring your updated resume including GPAs for all degrees. At the recruiting event the BST will provide job requisition numbers for applying online.
THE RECRUITING EVENT DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO ATTEND THE CHAPTER MEETING. Recruiters will be set up outside the meeting room from 5:30pm-8:00pm to meet with you. No reservation necessary, just show up with the above information.
